A Serene Place to Relax at: Kamana Sanctuary

Lucky to enjoy out of town trips during company events — zero expense in my pocket from transportation to food to rooms. Fun right? Anyway, I’m here just to showcase some of the pictures I took during our visit at Kamana Sanctuary Resort and Spa located at West District, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, 2222. Since some of my friends are asking about the details, I’m spilling them out here.

Rating and Prices of the Rooms?
I think I’ll give them 5/5 for their rooms. For the following reasons: (1) Rooms are clean, (2) It is well-maintained. It doesn’t have that “old vibes” you can get from other hotels, (3) Air conditioning, television, and ports work well. (4) View is very nice, (5) Rooms are spacious and beds are nice.

These are my friends in their Deluxe Twin Room with Loft. I stayed in a Deluxe Twin room, which I think was more spacious than having the other bed located at a loft instead.

What I loved the most is their Casitas! It provides a more soothing vibe, since it is located above the waters. A sure serene night with the sound of the waves as the background. (Not for us, since we used it as a drinking place that night — sadly, nobody got to enjoy the nice bath tub privately.)

I wasn’t able to take much pictures of the rooms inside (my usual disease as I’m always more focused on relaxing and taking pictures of the view after). View their prices here.

Other Amenities?
You can either swim on the beach or in their small infinity pool which is only 5 feet deep, and enjoy the view. They also have a bar inside where usually the buffet is served.

How to get there?
Most of us went there thru the bus rent service the company has pre-arranged for us. Some brought their own cars. I guess this place isn’t a “commute -friendly” place, since I also failed in my attempt to trace how to commute going to Pampanga from the place.
